What is home care?

Home care is non-medical care provided for individuals in their own home by a trained, personal caregiver. It is recommended for people who are getting older, who are chronically ill, recovering from surgery, or have a disability.

What type of services do you offer?

We Do Care, LLC offers a full range of non-medical home care services to assist with (ADLs) activities of daily living. A trained caregiver can provide in-home services such as cleaning, planning and preparing meals, doing laundry, transportation,  shopping and running errands. Caregivers may also assist with personal care tasks, such as dressing, bathing, grooming and following special diets.

Do you accept Medicaid/ Medicare?

We currently are able to service private pay clients, accept some long term care policies and partnered with  Veteran Affair Aid & Attendance program. We do not accept Medicaid/Medicare at this time. Please give us a call to see if you qualify for any services.

Where is your office located?

Our office is located to the left of City Hall on Main Street at 214 N Prairie Street (Suite 2), Union Springs, AL 36089 .

Where do you provide services?

We offer services in the South Eastern region of Alabama. The counties included are: Barbour County, Bullock County, Lee County, Macon County, Montgomery County, Pike County, and Russell County.

Do I have to sign a contract locking me into home care services?

No. The only documents you need to sign is to accept services, which can be cancelled at any time. 

Do I pay the home service caregiver directly?

No, you are not responsible for any payment toward the caregiver. You will be invoiced for in-home care services weekly or monthly, and you’ll never be asked to pay an additional fee to any employee.  

Are your in-home caregivers trained?

Yes, our in-home caregivers are trained. Every caregiver must successfully complete training courses and required new hire documentation.  All in-home caregivers receive mandatory annual training to help ensure the safety and well being of our clients. We also conduct a criminal history background clearance. 

What are the working hours for in-home caregivers?

We work around the needs and requests of our clients. We provide services 24/7 , including the holidays and weekend. 


What happens if an in-home caregiver is unable to show up for a scheduled shift?

If your caregiver is unavailable for any reason, every effort to provide another caregiver is made immediately.

How long will it take to get an in-home caregiver?

If you cannot come to our office to learn more or sign up your parent or loved one for in-home care services, we can send a representative to you to get the initial process started.  Visit our  FAQ section to know more about the process.

 We Do Care LLC must first complete an initial consultation for services,  next a signed client agreement is required, last an Nurse assessment is completed. Afterward, the client receives a Plan of Care and start date. We have immediate caregivers availability once you are ready for the home care services.  

Do you currently have a COVID-19 protocol in place?

Yes,  safety is one of our top priorities!  Most in-home caregivers are fully vaccinated and have received boosters. All our caregivers are trained to follow the infection control protocols when providing care and are required to wear masks and gloves in homes.
